THE MYSTERY OF DEATH & THE RESSURECTION
On the Resurrection Day, little into the words of God and writing down my thoughts - the 9th of April 2023.

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after death the judgment”
Why Do We Have to Die ?
There are 15 millions Deaths every year (approx.)
To start with I would like to point out that, almost all Religious views agree on the view that, Death is the separation of the Body and the Soul.
But in regards to the view of life after death there are two common belief system and practice:
1. Burial to those that believe in the resurrection of the body after death and Judgement. ( Christians, Jews, Islam )
2. Cremation to those that believe in incarnation after death and Judgement. ( Bhuddists, Hindus, Sikhs )
With regards to Burial and Resurrection, which is also the topic of interest as we celebrate Easter Sunday.
The Muslims and the Jews believe that there is a resurrection day but falls short in giving a living example.
Whereas in the Christian view we find it revealed – a living example in the Life, Death and Resurrection of Christ.
The Resurrection of Christ, which we celebrate on Easter Sunday.
DOES NOT DIFFEREINTIATE RACE OR RELIGION OR GENDER
DEATH
Death is so relevant in our lives that we all accepted it as it is.
But have we ever thought why we have to die in the first place?
Or.. Simply put - Why do we die ?
The Bible says;
“For the wages of Sin is Death “ that is to say,
If we sin – Death is what we will earn, in other words, Death is the sentence we get from the judge for sinning / breaking God’s Law. And the Bible says “ For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God” and therefore, as we all human beings are sinners ,
EVERYONE HAS TO GO THROUGH DEATH.
Death is Just the proof that we all are sinners.

THE SAME BODY RAISED AGAIN FROM THE DEAD
RESURRECTION
Why the Resurrection ?
“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after death the judgment”
All religious views do agree on Judgement after death.
And looking at the world with all the evils out there, a thinking mind would agree that Judgement of Some kind should be meted out to those who did so much evil – rape, torture, murder etc. while they were yet alive. Death cannot be the end of everything.
Say Hitler, even though he might be a hero to some, for all that happened in the concentration camps and the degradation the of human life in those camps - Justice ! Justice was the silent prayer of the many Jews.

While every other religious views agree on some kind of Judgement after death, the rules of judgement / procedure, differs drastically. We will not get into the different views but leave it for the readers to search out. But we all agree on the Judgement…
And…. Habeas corpus as in : to produce the person before the court for Judgement. If we all are to face Judgement - To stand before Judgement – The next question is ..
How can one stand before the Judge after one dies?
Everyone is to stand before God without excuse for the final Judgement and how does that happen? The simple Answer I suppose is, the Resurrection of the body.
But one might argue: It easier said than done. But, how is it possible?
THE RESURRECTED BODY WITH THE DOUBTING THOMAS
JESUS CHRIST
Christ the Living Example,
Lived Among us– Died on the Cross as he puts upon himself our sins – was Buried in a tomb and On the Third Day Rose again from the dead.
After the Resurrection Christ still have the wounds in his side where he was pierced by a spear while on the cross and the nail pierced holes in his hands. The Resurrected Body - What physical body could pass through closed doors & walk normal with all the death blows - Death has no control over it.
Thomas the disciple of Christ, who came all the way to India was not present when Jesus appeared to the disciples after the Resurrection the first time and when the Disciples told him that they saw Jesus, he said :
“ Unless I shall see in his hands and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe”.
But then when Jesus appeared to him and said ;
“ Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed”.

After the resurrection Jesus spent 40 days among the living with the Disciples and many eye witnesses until he ascended up to heaven on Mount of Olive in Jerusalem.
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” ( Jesus is Coming Again! )
The Resurrection of the Dead have certain timelines such as;
The Rapture of the Church :
Where all the Believers who are dead in Christ will be raised first and then all Believers that are still alive will be transformed with the same Resurrected body and both will be caught up together to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air and be with him.The Resurrection of the Old Testament Saints / Tribulation Saints:
Where all the Old Testament Saints who have died and waiting for the resurrection and those that will die in the name of Christ during the Great Tribulation Period - those that would not take the mark of the Beast, will have the resurrection after the Second Coming of Christ & Before the Millennial Kingdom.The Resurrection of the Unbelievers:
Before the Final Judgement , when the sea will give up the dead that were in it, and when Death and Hades will also give up the dead that were in them, and each person will be judged according to what they had done. All the unbelievers that have died from since before the beginning will be Resurrected after the Battle of Armageddon, to stand before the Final Great White Throne Judgement.
Writing down my thought on this day the 9th of April 2023, on Easter Sunday, as it is about the resurrection of Christ and trying to find out our Resurrection day.
